This is a special neighborhood within the oldest section of Grand Marais. This was a property that was in the same family for generations, and now it is newly developed by the celebrated Minnesota Nordic architect David Salmela from Duluth. Pull in, park your car in the protected carport with it's green roof, and leave your keys on the counter- you won't need them again unless you are voyaging up the Gunflint Trail or to some of the more distant attractions. We love living here, we live next door. The lake air surrounds the property and the seagulls fill the air with their cries when the fisherman bring in their catch.
